Fair Shot Texas PAC Recommends Averie Bishop for Texas House District 112

Averie is the daughter of a fifth generation Texan father and a Filipino immigrant mother. Both of her parents worked two jobs each to provide housing, food, and healthcare for their family. Now, she is running for Texas House District 112 to ensure that every family and child can believe that everything here truly is bigger and better.

Born and raised in McKinney, Texas, Averie attended Title 1 schools in Prosper ISD where she saw firsthand how lawmakers in Austin failed her teachers and classmates. She became the first in her family to graduate college and SMU law school (J.D.) so she could advocate for safer schools, affordable healthcare, and all generations of Texans. As Miss Texas, she traveled more than 60,000 miles and taught over 100,000 students to celebrate our differences and respect the many cultures of our Lone Star state.
